WHAT IS URBAN AXE THROWING?

We think it’s the most satisfying and social day or night out you’ll ever have. And we’ve tried a few.

You’ll be slinging axes side by side against your friends or colleagues, hitting bullseyes and cheering on your mates. All backed up with great music and atmosphere and a chance to socialise between throws.

Our experienced throwing coaches will get your throwing like a pro in no time. The reason for this is that it manages the spaces available and also processes card payments. While we try to encourage this at all times if you are planning on turning up please give us a call first to confirm we have enough spaces available. If you do just turn up you would be welcome to join in, but pre-bookings will take priority.

We have plenty of space and drinks available. However, we can’t promise that you won’t regret not getting involved.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”CAN I BUY GIFT CARDS?” tab_id=”GIFTCARD”][vc_column_text]You most certainly can purchase gift cards. Although, we don’t actually send ‘cards’. We will email and post a letter of confirmation to the tickets welcoming them to our venue. These will give details of how to use them. However, gift card receivers can just call, email or Facebook message us to arrange their booking.

When purchasing gift cards online, during the check out please add the names of the recipients to the ‘Additional Comments’ section.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?” tab_id=”CANCEL”][vc_column_text]Unfortunately we cannot accept requests for refunds or alterations to bookings. We have priced our sessions very competitively and manage of bookings carefully. As a result we are not able to cancel or alter bookings. Please try to ensure you are available before making the booking.

However, we aren’t awful people. If you booking is more than 48 hours in advance we may consider altering your booking or converting them into gift cards. You will have an instructor around at all times for everyone’s peace of mind. However, if you carefully listen to our instructors during the introduction and then use a little common sense (yup, we said it) then everyone will be perfectly safe. Therefore, providing there is an adult supervisor we are happy for children to come and join in with the fun. We went here last weekend for our daytime group activity and had such a good time. Our instructor Rona was really helpful and fun and organised the session really well. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a different activity!

Had the best time, took my daughter, her friend and a friend of mine. Rona was brilliant, explained things really well and we bad a really good laugh! Will defo be coming back!! 😊

Had an amazing time with Rhona being our amazing coach today. The owner was incredible and they make sure you have good fun. Would def recommend to anyone and will def be coming back!

Absolutely brilliant session here today, our instructor Rhona (sp?) was brilliant - the session was well planned out, she talked us through everything and coached us through the whole session. Fantastic rainy day activity. Thanks guys!!

Excellent fun and a great 90 minutes that was hugely entertaining. Rona was our guide and was an excellent coach. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Me and my boyfriend came a few days ago and had the best experience. Neither of us knew what to expect going in as we’d never done anything like this before. We were welcomed by Rona and were offered a selection of drinks (non-alcoholic if you’re wondering lol). She talked us through each of the items we could throw at the board as well as different throwing techniques to try out with them. Was so easy to book and also at an amazing price. Thanks so much ☺️

Where To Find Us

We are conveniently based just on the outside of Chesterfield town centre. There is ample parking around our venue are we are incredibly easy to find.

Urban Axe Throwing at The Snake Room is probably the most fun you will have with friends in a night. Not to mention, it’s extremely great for relieving a little stress.
